Panorama de la literatura española
by Nicholson B. Adams (Late of UNC)
John E. Keller (University of Kentucky)
Rafael Aguirre (East Tennessee State University)

Panorama de la literatura española is a newly revised, updated, and augmented version of the classic text called Breve panorama de la literature española, written by Nicholson Adams and John Keller. This new version takes into account the last thirty years of activity in Spanish literature, and brings all the biographical information up to date. We removed the word breve from the title since it is longer than it used to be, having been brought up to date by Rafael Aguirre.

Each chapter starts with a table showing the authors, their dates and works, organized into various columns. The chapter called Renacimiento y humanismo, for example, has these categories: "Poesía lírica, el teatro, historia, mística, novela, obras didácticas,"

The chapters themselves then follow the order of the columns and discuss the authors, works, and themes critically.

The level of reading is appropriate for university-level undergraduates.
